We’re looking for an intern ASAP!
Starting this January — the School of Machines is looking for an intern that’s interested in learning about (& assisting us with) our digital education systems for our online classes.
The School of Machines is looking for a systems curious, project-based intern who's interested in learning more about how we operate the educational platform for the online part of the school. Get hands-on experience with web design and content management operations skills this late January through early February 2022 at our in-person classroom in Berlin, Germany.
This internship will be a work-trade opportunity for one FREE online class upon completion of the internship. The tasks will largely consist of learning how all of our educational systems interconnect together — from financial to our classroom platform — so we’d love to work with someone who’s interested in pursuing systems development for DIY educational and makerspaces in the future!
This is an IN-PERSON internship opportunity in non-institutional learning systems design and maintenance, which will be mentored by the DIY online school professional admins at the School of Machines.
Timeline:
5x 4 hour sessions - 2.5 weeks! (Meet Tuesdays and Thursdays — January 18, 20, 25, 27 and February 1) = 20 hour internship total
Tasks:
Website content management
Digital classroom content & community management
Planning/scheduling marketing content
Skills + Tools:
No previous experience with web design or content management system development required — but a genuine interest in learning about digital systems and online learning tools is a must!
This position requires that you have a working laptop with WiFi connection as you'll be working with our online tools & will need a way to access them
